Danzoltd
After graduating in graphic design, specialising in business marketing and branding, from Southampton University, I began my role as the lead graphic designer at Danzoltd. This involves drawing up designs for clubs and businesses from scratch, largely being promotional merchandising using a mixture of Adobe Photoshop, After-effects and Illustrator. This allows me to effectively design a tailored product for the client that meets their needs functionally and visually. I will liaise with the client from start to finish of creating a product and beyond in order to perfect the product and create a good rapport for future business ventures and maintain an established and professional reputation for the company.
In addition to designing and representing merchandise, I have established strong relationships with large corporations including various football clubs across the UK, and also branching out to other sports such as Formula 1 and England Rugby Club. My role also involves interacting with global services using production companies in Europe and the Far East, but more recently also sourcing local suppliers to find more cost effective ways of working.
Overall, I am extremely proud of my time working in the sporting world of merchandise and the ever changing market that keeps things fresh and exciting everyday. This has made me ensure that I keep up to date with trends and changes in the design and promotional merchandise market, and try to encapsulate the role as a personal experience for the client rather simply branding a product. Being heavily involved in promoting products, publications, latest brochures and catalogues to more web based knowledge including websites and social media posts has given me more insight and experience than I could have possibly imagined.
