After progressing into my new role at Tree of Life, my responsibilities included creating a monthly book of new products and promotions for over 1,200 retailers such as health, pharmacy, food and drink products. The Tree of Life website banners and advertisements were updated monthly for brands by me, using WordPress to reformat and restructure artwork with the required dimensions to fit the website.
A key element of my role involved clear and effective communication with suppliers about their products, ensuring all information for the promotional books and marketing strategies is accurate and consistent. Using Excel to convert product information into marketing material greatly strengthened my Excel skills and taught me to use formulas to apply discount codes and check pricing information was correct.
To arrange the distribution of a monthly marketing email for subscribers to Tree of Life, I used Mailchimp to showcase exclusive brands and their advertisements. This was done as a Solus email, monthly new products and monthly promotional emails to display product images effectively to attract customers and increase sales and volumes. For smaller brands, this enabled them to reach a wider audience and their products receive a wider coverage, increasing their revenue.
As part of the marketing team, I specialised in print and digital design for various marketing opportunities and campaigns for the Tree of Life exclusively. This included print adverts for new and existing products such as Oat drinks, our best-selling product, and rebranding packaging for Superfood pastas. In addition, I produced roller banners and leaflets for monthly exhibition shows across the country including for buyers, exports, products and sales, raising awareness of the Tree of Life brand.
